North Elementary School Counselor
My name is Julie King, and I am thrilled to be at Eastbrook North Elementary as your Elementary School Counselor. I graduated from Indiana University South Bend in 2012 with a Master’s degree in Education for School Counseling. I am passionate about supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional growth.
On a personal note, I’ve been happily married to my husband, Rob, for 32 years. Together, we have four wonderful children: Ashlyn, Emily, Hanna, and Noah. In my free time I enjoy cooking, gardening, watching soccer, and spending time with family.
As your School Counselor, my goal is to help every student feel happy, confident, and successful. I provide individual support, run small groups, and collaborate with teachers and families to address students’ unique needs. I also believe in fostering a strong partnership with families, and I encourage you to reach out to me if there is ever a concern or situation you would like to discuss.
